Be the Light Campaign's Cincinnati event spread hope and love throughout the city. We passed out coats, blankets, warm coffee, food, journals, hand written notes of encouragement and hung up inspirational signs. We also created a mandala with the homeless. It was a beautiful way to bring everyone together and reiterate that we are all connected. These events are mutually beneficial to those we help and to the volunteers. We are reminded of the importance of hope and understanding.
